Hi,

Ceramic Case and Bezel: I really have a general owner experience question regarding how well the material has held up to scratching and or chipping? I also would like to better understand how the bezel markings are created? Are they luminova applied into inset features?

Size & Wrist Feel: The watch is spec'd at 44.0 x 16.2 mm (55 mm at the lugs and 50.5 across the crown) but weighs only 138 g. How large or small do these watches wear in your experience? Normally, I would exclude a 44 mm watch, but if is wears smaller due to either shape or weight, I am open to trying it.

Movement: I must say as someone who is fairly Internet savvy I must say that Hublot is fairly evasive regarding their movements. The watch is spec'd with a HUB 1400 which I am guessing is an ETA 2892 A2 ( or equivalent like Sellita SW 300). Does anyone have any photos of this caliber or any information on what Hublot's process as an etablisseur is in terms of customization?

Clasp: from what I surmise, the clasps are PVD steel. How well do these wear in your experience. My limited experience with PVD is not so positive (vs. DLC which is positive) but as an engineer, I know that these types of finishes can be process dependent. What has been your experience with Hublot PVD clasps?

Value Proposition: As you know, this watch is priced above a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms and close to an Audimars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver. As best I can tell, the value proposition of this watch is in the case design and materials of construction vs. the movement.  What is your perspective on the value proposition of this watch?

Thanks,

Bob
