Hublot's 2015 novelties are now hitting the street and I have encountered the first batch of those at the boutique.

I would like to introduce you first to Hublot Big Bang Broderie. This is purely for ladies and it is, as the name shows, the fusion of the watches and embroidery. Who else could have thought about combining watches and embroidery?

There are a lot more story than just a watchmaking in this special model and I would like to introduce it to you.

1. The embroider

The embroider chosen for this task is Bischoff, the leader in this field with long history in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Please see some of their products and the factory.

Now this is more "serious" version.

2. To the watch

First, they cut the embroidered skull in the dial shape.

.. and the surrounding arabesque pattern for the bezel....

... as well as for the strap....

The CEO of Bischoff, Mr. Thomas Meyer, and its textile designer, Ms. Rachel de Lagenest with the Big Bang Broiderie.

3. Hands-On

Can't believe the embroidery is actually ON the strap....

... as well as on the dial... Skull on the dial (and 11 diamonds, too).

See the layers in the bezel, on top of which is the embroidery in the clear resin.

See the "fusion" of the embroidery and the rubber.

Phew! Sorry for the longish report, but all the pics are worth seeing.

Kudos to Bischoff and Hublot for making this happen. I really hope this collaboration continue.... Very nice indeed. Too nice for ladies (kidding!).
