Here's one I did back in '82 and another from '91, so it was a long-lasting influence. There were many more in between but they're all somewhere in storage now.
It was a marker sketch for an oil painting I never got around to. The second is an unfinished oil painting that I just decided was "done enough" as-is because I got tired of painting it.

But the broker was very very rude. Have never been more turned off in my life.
...and I had also take a lot of drawing and illustration classes. There were essentially two tracks: design or illustration. I was a decent artist then, but when people showed their work to the class I knew I was not going to make it as an illustrator : )
