GLau's original post sparks a delightful discussion on a topic many collectors ponder: how to pass on a passion for horology to the next generation. His charming photos of young children posing with Swatches invite readers to reflect on their own experiences, highlighting the early seeds of appreciation for timepieces. This thread explores the varied outcomes of introducing children to watches, from nascent interest to outright indifference, and the subtle ways a shared hobby can strengthen family bonds.
wrist shots ?
They were around 4/5 years old then and were posing with their Swatch watches 🤣
Wonder if they will become an enamel slave or addict like their father ? 😉
Please share your experiences!

My two daughters have totally no interest on watches at all. My younger girl still wears a casio on her wrist for time telling, while my older girl just puts it on desk……
divorce ? Give to grandchildren then ! Better, right ?
Swatches are the best gateway to a lifelong passion . Cheers, Filip
You are a lucky man to have two adorable and healthy children! And I hope they grow up enjoying watches like their father!
He has a few Baby-G and Swatch now & he wears in daily... though I must say, now he is reaching his 'teens' he is not much keen to visit boutiques or ateliers anymore. He things the boutiques are alike and boring. some pics from the past... first time I discover he is curious on watches... Best, mahesh.,
To carry on the tradition.
