Hi Guys,

I am very happy to share my latest acquisition. It's a Gronefeld Remontaire. Waited 10 months for this. It's a Salmon Dial in white gold. And my second independent watch.

The watch is of course superbly finished especially movement wise. A pure joy to watch the remontaire mechanism in action. The quality is just amazing. Even the strap is gorgeous. My only gripe is that the power reserve is rather low so requires frequent winding.

Have a lovely weekend. Cheers.

Huge congrats

Fantastic watch, dial is mesmerizing and that movement with the steel bridges shaped as old Amsterdam canal houses is gorgeous. Definitely worth the wait.

I think winding won't be a chore with a watch like this, enjoy! [nt]

The problem is..

The PR is only 35 hours so if I didn't wind it sometime during the day or evening, chances are it's going to run out the next morning when I picked it up. However, this problem will soon go away once the watch goes into my regulation rotation with all the others.
