Compact, thin case rich with detail and drilled lugs.

36,000bph hand-wind movement with dual impulse escapement and 80hr power reserve.

Free-sprung balance with Breguet overcoil.

Regulated to +5/-3 s/day although this example runs at +1 s/day with virtually no positional variance.

Box sapphire crystal providing a view of the wonderful, subtle horizontal birch dial.

Aesthetically pleasing movement layout with the quirky charm of the winding click simulating the pecking motion of a wagtail bird.

Power reserve indicator on movement plate.

Reasonably priced, even a deep value relative to Swiss offerings.

In the past, I’ve always felt something was off with GS watches whether the case design, case thickness or relatively pedestrian, even if practical
movements. They have quietly raised the bar in terms of what to expect relative to what one is asked to pony up for watches these days.

I’ve been waiting to see these on here!

I think they started shipping in August last year. Love it. Also missed (or I missed it up there), it’s brilliant hard titanium

Amazing textured dial

And the heat blued seconds hand is the cherry on top! Nicely captured and thanks for sharing πŸ‘πŸ»

Congrats, that's a very attractive GS w/impressive specs.

And I'm curious to see the "pecking motion of a wagtail bird" !

See top right.

Sorry for the shake. My first time inserting a video. Hope it works.

I'm afraid I couldn't access your video, but I did find the pecking wagtail just now via Google.

Certainly brought a smile to my face, thanks! πŸ˜€

A tad under 10mm but that includes the box crystal.

The case band is much thinner.
