I attended the Grand Prix of Houston for a fun filled automotive day.

Wet track conditions for the Pirelli World Challenge GT/GTS Race.

The Cadillac driven by O'Connell won the race, that car could really move.

The following are from the Izod Indy Car Series.  Great race until the final lap.

I was surprised to see two indy cars run out of fuel on the track.  Unfortunately a really bad accident occurred during the final lap of the race.

Nice pics of the Grand Prix of Houston. Looks like it was an exciting race, I saw the news about Franchitti's crash. Hope he has a speedy recovery. Regards, ED-209

Hi, Jerry! Back in the late 90´s and early 2000´s, when it was a Cart Series event, I remember making the trip up to support a couple of Mexican drivers. It was a lot of fun, and I even remember one of those races being held despite the pouring rain. I am glad to see you had a good time out there! And even happier to learn that Dario came out relatively unscathed from such accident! Will you be making the drive out to Austin for the F1 GP? Hope all is well, Alex
