Chronometer's latest post offers a vibrant look at the Girard Perregaux Laureato, showcasing how a watch can bring a 'copper style' ray of sunshine even on a rainy day. His personal perspective highlights the aesthetic appeal and emotional connection collectors have with their timepieces, inviting readers to appreciate the subtle design elements that make a watch truly special.

Love the dial color & the size ππΎ
This is a great watch specially made for you. A good example of pure elegance --- both the wearer and the timepiece.
You need to take it on vacation to a tropical island or the Med! π΄πͺ·πΊ
What do you think it the center links were satin instead of polished? There is a chap in our group that says he would love the laureato even more if the center links were satin.
Before on the bracelet taper to 18 mm instead of 16 mm. As for the satin finish, I did it myself as a trial on an extra bracelet I have for the laureato olimpico. I think not bad. More sporty and stealthy. The thing is that itβs also very hard to keep the polished finger print free anyway. So they tend to get smudged. Also itβs show hairlines very easily. So going satin seems like the way to go.
Not to mention the size. It is perfect and always a pleasure to see this!
