Amanico's post highlights a fascinating Girard Perregaux Historique Fly Back Chronograph, a limited edition from the early 2000s. His appreciation for its Alpine-themed caseback engraving is palpable, yet he candidly points out a design element that prevents it from being his grail watch. From the early 2000's, a limited edition of 250 pieces.

With a great detail, for the Alpine Fan I am, engraved on the case back:

If only there wasn't this small but annoying detail at 4.30...

I would have hunted it like a mad man!

Best,

Nicolas.

Very nice watch β€” and with the appeal of the case back for you, Nicolas, I might have thought you could be forgiving of the date window?
