Amanico's post highlights a fascinating Girard Perregaux Historique Fly Back Chronograph, a limited edition from the early 2000s. His appreciation for its Alpine-themed caseback engraving is palpable, yet he candidly points out a design element that prevents it from being his grail watch. This article delves into the details of this specific reference and explores community insights on its design nuances.

From the early 2000's, a limited edition of 250 pieces.

With a great detail, for the Alpine Fan I am, engraved on the case back:

If only there wasn't this small but annoying detail at 4.30...

I would have hunted it like a mad man!

Best,

Nicolas.

The colors go well, most of the special markings are reserved for the caseback. Nice commemorative piece.

Inconspicuous date and all 😉. Especially on the bracelet! Sorry, no photo right now, I’m on my way to the airport. Kent
