Dark leather doesn't match with this GP, you'd need a strap that reaches case edges
... reaches the outer width of the lugs? Or one of those straps with leather pad that protects whole case? (as usually seen on small dial vintage military & chrono's)
Never seen a chicken leather strap before - I'd be nervous of the dog taking too much interest ;-)
