Watch_This shares their Girard Perregaux chronograph, highlighting its clean aesthetics and value. The post quickly evolves into a community discussion on dial symmetry, the role of date windows in watch design, and the appeal of traditional, no-date chronographs.

I am relatively new to luxury watches. Is having no date considered to be more pure or traditional? I usually like having the date on my watches, but clearly it is not a deal breaker for me.
more seriously, a date window often disturbs the symmetry of a dial, especially on a Chronograph. It's a matter of taste and Marketing tells us that the big majority wants to have a date, so all is fine
Date is terrifying especially between 4-5
