I already showed this watch to you some time ago.
But with the new launch of the Girard-Perregaux Stradale chronograph, I can’t help but thinking how many great chronographs GP had over the years.
Here is one example, the Girard-Perregaux “Rallye Monte-Carlo 1965”. A chronograph that really speaks loud to me!
And when you see this one you realize from where the Stradale have its roots.
What really surprises me here is that even if the Stradale is 4 mm bigger in diameter (42mm vs 38 mm) GP managed to keep the slender and elegant look!

With each 38mm GP Chrono that you display, my "want" list gets longer and longer! A very charming brown indeed, now to hunt for one!
......but a shame about the date function.
Oh, dear Baron, I thought it was Nicolas words... Yes, I agree that this dial would be better off without date, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker if I ever find one. Best Blomman
