Friends,

I will stick to the given theme this week, “Summer time, Travel time – Travel watch”.

So, what could be more suiting than a watch where all you have to do is to look at the dial to travel the whole world?!

smile

One thing I find awesome with GP watches is the way they work with different materials and styles to express themselves!

Not long ago I posted the last part of the Le Corbusier Trilogy as an example of this.

Here is another quartet showing the diversity both in style and material coming from La Chaux-de-Fonds: different watches, different dial materials, different period of times…

Same motif: the World map, same base: GP 1966 in Pink Gold.

The Pearls of Wonder: Papyrus

The Terrestrial map: Jade

The New World: Stone

Traditional map: Enamel

A travel through time, from ancient history to the present…

Which World do you prefer….?

smile

Best

Blomman

It is nice to see those rare pices from time to time :)

I think I have a preference for the 3 first models but I don't know which to choose. As ususal with Metiers d'Art I guess it really should be seen in the metal. I think I have a little preference for the Le Corbusier :) Thanks Blomman! Cheers, Mark

Yes, these are best seen in real! :)

My photos are not able to show all the shades and details on these pieces of art! Like paintings.... Le Corbusier , let me guess - Paris?! ;) Thank you for your input, Mark. Best Blomman
