In this insightful post, WatchProSite contributor yankbrit explores the often-debated practicality of dress watches, particularly in challenging climates. He makes a compelling case for the Girard Perregaux 1945 XXL, highlighting its versatility and comfort, and questions why this exceptional reference receives less attention than its merits suggest. yankbrit's personal experience with strap dilemmas and his solution of pairing the 1945 XXL with both a strap and a bracelet offers a practical perspective for collectors facing similar considerations.
