This piece was originally under embargo until Richard Stenning alerted me to the fact that the owner had publicly posted images of it! Not to be made again, as far as I understand, the silvered dial has engraved numerals, chapters and signature, which have all been enamel filled. The different shades of silver were slightly accidental, but two or even three tone dials are rather attractive. This dial was also made at the Frodsham workshops from raw material to finished dial. The zirconium oxide (ceramic) dial of the 'standard' model is supplied to Frodsham from a specialist supplier as a disc that is then lapped by the watchmakers. The signature, and other markings, are then applied using a PVD process by another specialist (applied numerals are all made in house and the process of fixing them to the dial is also carried out by Frodsham). So this particular watch is that little bit more 'in house'. The case is made of steel and it was delivered around a year ago. Enjoy! Baruch

Pleasure. Can't believe it's been a year since I photographed it!
