ChristianDK's "Francois-Paul Friday" post captures the essence of luxury watch collecting: the joy of wearing exceptional timepieces during life's special moments. His reflection on the emotional connection to watches, rather than their monetary value, resonates deeply within the F.P. Journe community. This article distills the community's shared appreciation for F.P. Journe's horological artistry and the personal significance these watches hold for their owners.

Later today the plan is to meet with a mutual friend of ours, and maybe some others. There will be two firsts; the first time in 15 months seeing any watch friends in person and the first time I will see the RQ in person ! I will be wearing my go-to, the CTS. Enjoy the summer house, hopefully calming to leave the bustle of the city. A morning coffee shot from yesterday; I’ve not put a watch on yet today!
Just in time for FP Friday! It should be on the FedEx truck by now. I will hopefully have a picture to post later today.
Be careful with that guy. Ive heard he is a mad man! I cant wait to hear your impression of the RQ. I think its a magical piece of machinery. Wait till you see that movement while its running. One day I would love to have one. Give my warmest regards to our mutual friend and a great weekend to you both
I remember one time when the fedex man had delivered a watch, I had to ask my wife to open the box as my hands where shaking too much from excitement. Crazy!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
NYC opening back up again means not only hitting the streets, but also traveling beneath them. Hope everyone has a great day and weekend!
