Curare78 shares a significant milestone in his collecting journey, acquiring an early F.P. Journe Chronomètre à Résonance. His post highlights the allure of a rare 2001, 38mm brass model with a straight Côtes de Genève movement, a detail highly sought after by collectors. This article delves into why these early F.P. Journe pieces, particularly the Reserve de Marche, continue to captivate enthusiasts with their unique aesthetic and limited production.

That’s a very important and cool watch here !
Love that strap too!
Coincidentally I had the exact same reference, straight finish too, on my wrist a few weeks back. Owned by a fellow collector. It was interesting to see side by side with my Resonance which has the same dial and is 38mm too.
Well played, sir! That’s a real beauty. I’m glad you reached your goal. Enjoy it fully and in great health!
Enjoy the honeymoon.
I love these early RDMs. The White Gold dial is superb. Helle from mine….
