I got the opertunity to try this Octa Zodiaque. with its special star sign calendar. The watch never gained as much poupularity as some of the other older models. How do you like it?

Actually one of the Journes that had me interested in the brand. My only possible complaint is for the power reserve indicator, which sits a little uneasy on the dial imho. I think the reason for it not being very popular is not that it's a bad watch, but that it just had so many competitors from FPJ's lineup at that time - think Resonance, the first Vagabondage.... I think the Zodiaque jsut never got into the limelight it deserved due to these other marvels. Best, Daniel

almost there are few models which we can call 'less interesting'.... i think the Zodiac calendar got lost among the successes of other models. i believe even the Octa calendar suffered the same...by far one of the best layouts for calendar complication imho. Best, mahesh.,

For me the PR is ok but I feel your more with the date window. Like the upper left corner is a tad close to the numerals ring, but that is really a minor to me. The Zodiaque was made from 2003-2005. And was sort of in between early Journe and more “contemporary” bras movement but 40 mm case. I wonder if the case size plays a part as well as what you said? Thank you so much for chiming in my friend.

Like the Resonance and the Tourbillon. It is just not a significant as those. I believe the Calendrier got a lot warmer reception. It was a limited run of 150 if I remember correctly. It that somehow hasn’t caught on with collectors. Thank you, Mahesh

I think it has some really strong things going for it.
