In this WatchProSite feature, cmmnsens shares an exclusive look at a rare F.P. Journe Minute Repeater. This limited edition, featuring a smoked sapphire dial, was unveiled at a special event in Los Angeles, offering a unique perspective on one of Journe's most celebrated complications. cmmnsens's post highlights the aesthetic and technical prowess of this exceptional timepiece, sparking a lively discussion among collectors.

The F.P. Journe Centigraphe — known among collectors as the CT — is a landmark chronograph that measures time in centièmes de seconde, hundredths of a second, a capability unique in mechanical watchmaking. Powered by caliber 1506, its patented centesimal mechanism employs a 100-tooth wheel oscillating at 360,000 vph to display 1/100th seconds on a dedicated subdial alongside a 10-minute counter and running seconds. Available in the Souveraine collection in precious metals and as the Centigraphe Sport in aluminum, the CT is produced in limited quantities at F.P. Journe's Geneva manufacture and prized by collectors for its horological ingenuity and benchmark precision chronography.

How was the gong?
Never seen that before.
Also, TJG's interview where the astronomy grand complication will show up for Only Watch and it will be not too thick, precise, and easy to set and use. Boom!
