ChristianDK's festive post from 2020 invites the F.P. Journe community to share their holiday watch choices, deviating from the traditional 'Francois Paul Friday' to capture the spirit of Christmas Eve. His personal selection, an Octa Réserve de Marche with a rose gold dial, beautifully sets the tone for a discussion that transcends mere watch appreciation, delving into the personal connections collectors have with their timepieces during significant moments.

So tomorrow we should have our traditional Francois Paul Friday. Inspired by Daandeluxes post, I have decided to change the concept this week to see what FPJ you are wearing for Christmas.

Here in Denmark as well as some other countries we celebrate Christmas with a big dinner on the eve of the 24th. Since I am the chef in our household I will be moving to the kitchen in a few minutes to continue the preparations. However we did have time for a short walk down to sea this afternoon.

Here is my pick for the holiday season. It has the perfect romantic feel for the celebrations.

I wish you a merry Christmas where ever you are and however you celebrate - or, if not, a happy holiday.

Let’s see your Christmas pick!

Best

Christian

Enjoy these days although they’re a bit weird, to say the least...

Yes, it’s a weird Christmas. We are in a lockdown right now as numbers are exploding so it’s just the four of us and not seeing grandparents, friends ect. We are going to make the best of it however. I believe that the worst is now behind us and 2021 will at least be better.
