His post delves into the enduring appeal and historical roots of Journe's creations, prompting fellow collectors to share their own experiences with these horological masterpieces. This article explores why F.P. Journe timepieces command such devoted wrist time and admiration among enthusiasts.
My Journe watches have lately been demanding a disproportionate amount of wrist time at the expense of the other watches in my collection, and this has made me wonder why.
I have now come to the conclusion that François-Paul Journe has succeeded in something very special with his design.
He has come up with a noble aesthetic truth, both deeply rooted in history but at the same time with a clear, vibrant, durable and unique expression that promises eternal durability.
I find my watches spellbinding and attention-demanding. A design could not be more successful. My other watches and I myself have to bow to this.
Am I crazy or does anyone else feel this way? Please, share with me if you are also enchanted by Journe watches

this is common among Journe fans. Not everyone gets it - of course - but if you do, you cant seem to get enough. Not enough wrist time, not enough watches. His watches are addictive. Many in this group can witness this. I certainly can. I think I wear mine 75% of the time. Wonderful picture. Its a very well composed collection you have there
I love to see them on WPS especially during the holidays…love crooked Christmas tree.
I get the impression that is hard to do these days
He's also an unparalleled designer. How many times did you see small numbers next to a small counter, instead of unaesthetic sliced ones?
'twas thanks to a friend at a FORMER Journe AD.
This was my longtime dream watch, the only one I ever remember actually calling a 'grail watch.' And then, one day, looking over my collection, I realized I could afford it! So I got it. Today it's worth multiples of what I paid but no intention of giving it up!
