I love how changing of the strap can change the personality of a watch. It is particularly noticeable on Journes.

It makes it worry free and I enjoy the versatility.
it is not terribly fiddly to change the buckle, I think if the watch is in rotation with a number of others then extra buckle is not completely necessary. If it is in a smaller collection where you will wear it for more purposes, finding yourself changing the colors more as a result to get different feels, then having more buckles will be more useful than in the previous case. Still some of us like to fiddle with mechanical parts, so even changing the buckle is not strictly a negative.
I guess all one needs is a spring bar tool.
