It’s brutal to get back to work after a great summer ;-) .............. The office is buzzing today but I snuck outside to enjoy the bright  blue of my CB in the sun.

Wishing you all a happy weekend

About the F.P. Journe Chronomètre Souverain Ref. chronometre

The F.P. Journe Chronomètre Souverain represents the foundational timepiece within the brand's Souveraine collection. This reference demonstrates the manufacture's approach to precision timekeeping through manual winding mechanics, positioned as a core offering in F.P. Journe's lineup.

The 40mm case is executed in 18k rose gold with a fixed bezel configuration. A sapphire crystal protects the silver dial, while the manual-winding caliber 1304 movement provides an 80-hour power reserve. The timepiece features 30-meter water resistance and is paired with a leather strap. Production commenced in 2000.

This reference appeals to collectors seeking F.P. Journe's mechanical execution in a fundamental three-hand configuration. The substantial power reserve and manual winding caliber position this model for enthusiasts who appreciate traditional watchmaking approaches within the Souveraine series framework.

That will help you get through the work week smiling. Not wearing a Journe today. I’m pining for the return of this modest little piece. Have a great weekend, Christian and everyone else here

Which means this one continues to dominate wrist time. On the way to grab the morning caffeine fix.

and has been in Geneva since June 29th. And of course some of the time in Geneva corresponds with Summer break so I haven't a clue if the watchmaker has spent anytime with it; or how much. No idea when I will see its return.

The first week back at the office is always tough after a nice break. Hopefully you have some nice weekend plans ahead.

I know they are on summer break at the moment. Pr FPJ rules a warranty repair always has to go back to the watch maker who built it. I’m sure your patience will be rewarded. It’s a mind boggling, out of this world movement. The CB, as you know, never fails to deliver. I don’t wear mine that often but Truly love it. I’m going out dining with my wife tonight so I’m going to find something that matches the watch 😎 Thanks for chiming in, Mike. It always makes me happy to see you here. Enjoy your wee
