I understand that some of the off center models can be looked at both ways, but I think the Centigraphe and Resonance are symmetrical and balanced. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and tasted, but hype driven would be the 5711 and 5167 Pateks, simple time only watches that used to sell at 20-30% below list. I have had chronographs from VC, Lange, Breguet, AP(countless models) and others and have found the Centigraphe to be my favorite.

The Dato and Double Split are fantastic, and historic. Patek can be beautiful. But the Centigraphe has a coolness factor that can't be touched. 1 second; 20 seconds; and 10 minutes sud-dials are not the most practical of measurements but when all those hands kick in it is something to see.

It does seem to be a fairly common general thought re Journe. What I will add, and you can see this in several other posts I made here, the Centigraphe Sport was the one for me which I could never understand in terms of its design / look / aesthetic. For years I thought it to be the least cohesive design in the entire catalogue. But in time I changed my mind, and then I bought one!
