... as I was not aware that this car existed and discover that body was made (and probably designed) by Facel and produced for the French/European market. Then it was built by Simca at the end of production in the 1950´s. Lovely car for sure. Thank you so much for calling our attention about it!! Abrazos amigo mio! Abel

the car was launched in 1951 by ford societe anonyme france based on the vedette and manufactured by facel-metallon at colombes as the simca 8 sport who is also a nice design in a smaller car. Ford saf will be acquired by simca which will sell the last units built under the name simca comete in 1954 It was in 1954 that jean daninos launched the vega model which will give the name facel vega (at the beginning, the brand was "vega par facel" when daninos launched the FV1) The comet has a beautiful

for this price, i put a little more and I go to a facel 3 ans so i have the volvo 1800 engine
