Nicolas (amanico) brings to the forefront a stunning example of automotive history: the 1973 Ferrari 246 Dino GTS, famously owned by Led Zeppelin manager Peter Grant. This article delves into why this particular model continues to captivate enthusiasts, exploring its unique blend of aesthetics, performance, and historical significance. Nicolas's original post, rich with evocative imagery, serves as a perfect starting point for understanding the enduring appeal of this iconic Ferrari.

with the reverence his model has garnered throughout all these decades.... May he rest in peace. 🙏🙂↕️
As much as I appreciate the Dinos, I find they have been overhyped and hence overpriced for what they are. Beautiful for sure and reasonably accomplished for the era but not as stratospherically good IMHO 🤷🏻♂️
But then again I have always been weird that way 😂😂😂
Whilst still at school one of my teachers actually had one, it really is such a beautiful car from a time when seeing a Ferrari was a rare occurrence and you couldn't see multiple cars throughout the day. It may be lacking all the bells and whistles of a modern Ferrari but it had a sole and character and driving engagement that IMHO far exceeds the boring cars of today. Marc
What is it about these older cars? A car is more than its specs -- the driving experience goes beyond numbers. Of course, I've never driven one!
