Subexplorer, a seasoned collector, shares his initial impressions of the Doxa Army, highlighting its distinctive dial and bronze bezel. This article delves into the nuances of this specific Doxa reference, offering insights into its movement, aesthetic choices, and the community's reception. His detailed observations provide a valuable resource for both new and established Doxa enthusiasts considering this unique diver.

Just arrived yesterday late and I was too lazy today to adjust its steel bracelet so I took it off and installed these canvas straps to be able to wear it fast.

The watch comes with a well made Nato strap with a beautiful buckle but I’m not fond of its brown camouflage pattern.

I choose the bronze bezel/green insert version to add a touch of gold color to the watch. The green insert is so dark that looks black even in sunlight.

The dial is truly impressive and different to the usual Doxa diving watches in my collection.

Have a nice Sunday dear friends!

Perfect color palette. IMHO it is more of a racer than army.

And that strap complements it beautifully. I imagine a similar dark green canvas strap would also be great.

Congratulations on getting this one. The touch of gold really makes this one interesting and a different take on the Doxa.

Agree about the golden touch. It’s also available with a steel bezel but I wished to add a touch of color there for a different look. Glad you approve! Cheers! Abel
