I need a new watch...

So I have started making it.

I think I have found what it is, that fascination.
It is going from the mechanical design to "the real thing"

I have been working on this design on and off for the last 2 years or so.
Its time has come.
Throw on the milling machine and GO!

Raw material, brass

The bridges, dial side

Bridge side

The plate, bridge side

Steel parts milled out of 0.25mm and 0.5mm carbon steel

First attempts at placing parts

The fun will continue !

Extremely cool

I absolutely adore your in-progress pictures and can't wait to see more. One question - is your mill cnc controlled or do you mill by hand? Ondrej

Milling

I have moved up to CNC, I make less stupid mistakes that way. But even with CNC it is possible to make stupid mistakes. :) Don
