On some watches it would be blasphemy but I think in a lot of ways Cartier was made for this kind of thing! It invites an interesting side thread… What watches would or would not be suitable for customization?

For me, this works and it’s pretty cool. I’ve been thinking of doing something along these lines with a 36mm Oyster Perpetual. There’s a guy (King Nerd) who has done some stuff for Urwerk that I’ve chatted with a little. I still need to be sure about the design though. Wrist shots required when it arrives.
