Howdy fellow Seiko Purists....

a few years ago before Covid, I was attending a watch fair, and Grand Seiko specially flew in a Credor Eichi. I was really tempted to buy it, and some of my fellow collectors talk me out of it, oft quoting its price and how the money could be used to buy a "blue chip" brand. When i came round to my senses, it slipped thru my hands into the wrist of a undoubtedly wiser collector.

Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, I happen to be attending a similar fair, and I reached out to the previous sales guy who showed me the Credor few years back. He said he has left Grand Seiko a few months back, and didn't think there would be one. Nevertheless, I decided to just try my luck, and i got second time lucky, and this time round, I make sure to ruin any chances of another wiser collector coming forth.

More of this incredible piece later, let me just enjoy it on the wrist awhile more before I go academic about it

...it's a beautiful watch and one I'd have in my collection if I had the resources. Second, at current exchange rates with the USD, it is a bargain. The Yen is very weak right now...
