Now I have to find out which strap to give it. Was thinking it should be some vintage mesh or steel of some sort. Like the one from the Phillips auction in 2016

I think a vintage (looking) steel bracelet would look good or maybe a well worn NATO. Something new and pristine looking would detract from the watch in my opinion. I had the same problem with a Tudor from the 1950s and decided on an old Speidel. Regards Kev.
Found this vintage style riveted one that came from a 5513 i bought; ended up finding the right Rolex bracelet for it. Works well and really showcases how over-sized these CP-2s were at the time.
