mahesh seeks advice from the PuristSPro community on evolving his watch collection, considering replacing his Rolex Explorer 214270 and Omega De Ville Orbis Hour Vision. He contemplates adding high-horology pieces like the Vacheron Constantin Patrimony 81180/000J-9118, A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia Thin 211.026, F.P. Journe Chronomètre Bleu, or a Speake-Marin Resilience. This post offers a fascinating glimpse into a collector's journey and the thoughtful process behind curating a personal collection.
Good day Purists...
I've a dilemma... that is my collection since last 3 years i was bitten by the horological bug ;-)
now i feel i've to get out the Rolex Explorer 214270 and Omega De Ville Orbis Hour Vision to move on to next steps...
I've Vacheron-Constantin PATRIMONY 81180/000J-9118 and A. Lange & Sohne Saxonia Thin 211.026 in my mind. I also have an affinity to FP Journe Chronomètre Bleu and Speake-Marin resilience also interests me.
Would you advise ?
Longines Diver No date was my start point and I wouldn't part with it any time (i was searching for a No-date version and located it in Harleem, Netherlands - got it shipped to Bkk).
Good day Purists... Would you PLEASE advise your thoughts? (sorry i missed it in the original query)...
thanks, just that it will be too far off my budget...probably i've to collect 1 more year to be there...
Also I'd Consider the offerings from H Moser especially ones with the fume dial
thank you & any reason why 1815 not Saxonia thin ?
