On Sunday, February 26, 2017, attending in support of his nominated film 'Arrival', Jeremy Renner was at the 89th Annual Academy Awards wearing a timepiece by Chopard.

The actor selected to wear Chopard’s L.U.C 1937 Classic timepiece featuring a silver dial and stainless steel case. Ref. 168544-3002

The satin-brushed silver-toned dial features applied rhodium-finished Roman numerals and a transferred minute track.

The Dauphine Fusee hands, designed for the L.U.C collection, is also rhodium-plated. 

The 42 mm-diameter steel case is characterised by an innovative profile and timeless curves.

Its screw-lock crown at 3 o’clock guarantees water resistance to 50 metres.

It is adorned with a vertical satin-brushed finish on the sides, along with polished lugs and a sapphire crystal case-back.

L.U.C 1.010 movement, formerly called L.U.C 01.01-L

The sapphire clear case back allows view of the renamed L.U.C Calibre 1.010 movement.

The mechanical, automatic winding, movement is chronometer-certified by the C.O.S.C. and has a 60-hour power reserve. It drives the hours, minutes and central seconds hands, as well as a date display through a window at 6 o’clock.

It also features a stop-seconds function, enabling easy and accurate time-setting.

The actress selected earrings featuring a 25-carat pear-shaped D-flawless diamond and 26-carat heart-shaped D-flawless diamond, 4.55-carats of pear-shaped diamonds and 4.35-carats of brilliant-cut diamonds set in 18kt white ‘Fairmined’ gold from the “Garden of Kalahari Collection”.

On her fingers were a ring featuring a 7.11-carat pear-shaped diamond and 1.14-carat of diamonds set in 18kt white gold,

AND a diamond ring featuring a 4.04-carat diamond set in 18kt white gold: both from the “High Jewelry Collection.”

They are just visible in the big photograph of Ms Theron.
