Kong's detailed photo report from the 2008 Chopard L.U.C PuristSPro event in Singapore offers a rare glimpse into the brand's manufacture and novelties. This retrospective provides valuable context for understanding Chopard's L.U.C line, showcasing the fine craftsmanship and community engagement that defined the brand over a decade ago. Readers can appreciate the evolution of Chopard's offerings and event experiences through Kong's original coverage.

and unveil the mastery of Chopard Manufacture.

For the first time,  we could catch a glimpse of the minuscule parts of the

Great evening by Chopard, thank you. And also to PuristsPro and to you Kong. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening with so many old friends and new ones too. The XPS was very attractive to many of us for its simplicity and the fact that it has a open caseback. Only wished Joe and I had more time to talk to Patrick. His eagerness in sharing his knowledge is most delightful for collectors. Well, there will be another time! Cheers! Lionel

What was an obvious great event! Watches were great, too! Can't waqit to see them in the flesh. I began with the Chrono One, and was impressed by its level of finish and quality. Will have to play with the other LUC watches... Best, my friend. Nicolas

Many thanks, Kong for the detailed report and, of course, Chopard for the event. Patrick Wehrli is inimitable and apparently as indomitable as Maxime Labey and his team are the perfect charming hosts. Friends met and reacquainted included both the watch variety and the living, breathing kind.  Needs must get myself an XP. Black is the new black.  Dirk
