He talks about the Chopard Classic Racing watches so far....and other plans.

to watching the video later on tonight when I'm home and learning about the watches that I might be able to afford in 15 years time...
the aperture, The video just sparked off more questions.... Classic Racing range of watches with in-house Chopard movements may be a tad more expensive than outsourced calibers but are still "affordable" . The Ferdinand Berthoud FB1 chronometer is a different prospect but this is the cost of true luxury! Regards MTF
A very interesting video, but a shame that someone seemed to be emptying the dishwasher close by. I do like the idea of the Historique Monaco pieces having the in house movement. I\'m not too sure my purse is large enough. It\'s a shame that I have spent quite a bit lately on new watches, Chopard tells me there is a private sale of end of line pieces in London this weekend. As tempting as it is, I can\'t really spend much more... It will be a while until I claim my fourth piece, hopefully a 2008
Maybe you were speaking of general collectors and not PuristS (although that stance would be a surprise since you are the CEO here). I believe most PuristS rather have the in-house movement, even if it were a little more expensive and took longer to get. Being a Purist, you learn patience in acquiring what you want. I am not concerned about how many they can make.
His watch looks amazing.
A real elegant gentleman - they do make them like this any more. The James Bond of the watch world. Very chic and very passionate about his watches. Bill
