Nicolas (amanico) shares his enduring admiration for the 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray, highlighting its iconic design and engaging performance. This post invites readers to appreciate a classic American automotive legend through the eyes of a passionate collector, sparking a lively discussion about favorite Corvette generations and their place in automotive history.

My favorite Corvette, after the " Rip Tide ".

5, 3, engine, 300 HP. Enough to have great fun.

And what a body!

The unmistakable interior.

Indisputably my favorite American car. Well, with the Ford GT 40 and The Bad Boy, the Cobra.

Best,

Nicolas

. . . although I respect the brand immensely. There were several underwhelming production years; my favorite was '73. [photo credit: Wikipedia] Long plastic snout with chrome rear bumpers . . . . . . and optional aluminum wheels. Engines were down-rated but that's what the aftermarket is for. Art

I don’t think you will ever hear a song like that for watch movements πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜†

. . . this was coming. And for the record (pun intended!), I was rooting for the Dodge.

for me due to the amazing clean simple lines of the C5. A rare moment where you and I have a slightly different opinion. ;-)
