Cartier, Shape Your Time, a
dedicated event to men, will showcase some Cartier's iconic pieces, a
revisit of history of Cartier's watchmaking achievements from 1904, a
glimpse of the Maison's capabilites and also to launch the new Calibre
de Cartier Diver Collection.
More than 50
pieces of some contemporary pieces from the range of Santos de Cartier,
Tank, Ballon Bleu de Cartier, Calibre de Cartier and Fine Watchmaking
creations will be displayed. The event is located at Civic Plaza -
Ngee Ann City, open for public viewing from 24 to 25 May, 11am to 8pm.
Besides
the timepieces, Cartier asked Rafael de Cardenas, one of New York’s top
architects to design the interiors of the event to represent a specific
aspects of the icons - like a propeller suspended at the Santos venue
to represent the Maison’s link with Alberto Santos-Dumont the aviator,
straight lines of the Roman numerals to recall Tank’s design codes, a
sapphire blue cabochon at the Ballon Bleu area to emphasize the crown
design. State-of-art set up like interactive books, touch screens, 3D
screen and simulation videos also spread out in the event-hall for
visitors to discover more about the innovative stories of the maison.
