Last week I was at the opening of Cartier's newest exposition 'Cartier in Motion'.

It has been a while since the 'Time Art'  exposition, that we had a chnace to see Cartier's private collections.

'Cartier in Motion' unravels the unique story of Cartier’s approach to watchmaking and how the invention of the modern wristwatch came about.

The exposition is curated by the Britse architect Lord Norman Foster, well known for his design of the Millennium Bridge, the City Hall in London and has been co-curated by Deyan Sudjic, Design Museum director.

The opening ceremony of the show, was Wednesday, hosted by Mr. Cyrille Vigneron, Carrier’s new chief executive.

The exposition is a watch and clocks exposition and show unravels the unique story of Cartier’s approach to watchmaking and how the
invention of the modern wristwatch came about.
Besides the gorgeous vintage Santos Dumont models, there are many Tank watches from the very early years till today
and ofcourse a collection of clocks and mystery clocks.
In my opinion a Must See show, for most of us, since the exposition shows precisely the strength of the brand, since the early years and proves that so many of their creations have been a source of inspiration for the Industry in general.
