Clueless_Collector shares an unexpected highlight from his trip to Ireland, witnessing the Cannon Ball Run 2017 in Limerick. His post captures the excitement of over 180 cars and colorfully dressed owners, emphasizing the unique interaction between the public and these high-performance vehicles.

Traveling to Ireland for the first time and Limerick this week really makes my mission very exciting.

I was happy and thrilled to see the Cannon Ball run 2017 came to Limerick for the 1st leg drive today.

Over 180 cars and fun dressed owners make this event so much more fun.

Seeing them drive and making loud noises through the crowd is a highlight and parking there to let thousands of people touch, sit and squeezed-by (scratches, dings?) really make them respectable 👏🏻👍🏻

Very happy this is how I ended my trip in Limerick and going to Dublin tomorrow.

Enjoy the fun.

So many nice cars. As it's in Ireland, I have a preference for the green ones. 😁

And definitely a country I have to visit - one of the very few in Europe where I haven't been!

Looks like Lambos, McLaren and i8 are crowd favorites.👍🏻

Living in the west coast make it harder to visit Europe, even though last few years is visited 2-3 times each year.

Too bad the charger isn't powered by this engine above 990hp at 2300rpm and 1000lbs/ft or torque

That black Porsche with the black velvet wrap sure has a unique look. I remember seeing a black velvet wrapped car on Rodeo Drive one day. It sure looked weird! Cheers, Anthony
