Bill's original post offers an authentic, unvarnished look at the Bulova Mil Ships, a charming tool watch that often looks better in person than in promotional materials. His 'live shots' provide a valuable perspective for collectors considering this reference. It is really a charming tool watch without a doubt.  The size of the lugs work well withe the hight and weight distribution. In person it looks better than the promo pictures.

Had chance to go bond with the strap and get into the groove.

Have a great thanksgiving week.

Very nice β€” looks nicely finished

Love the simplicity. Does it take an 18mm strap?

It takes a 16 mm strap according to Bulova's website. I would've expected . . .

. . . 18 myself. Art

I wonder why …

Maybe there’s a historical reason?

I will have to check, but I think it is the original size.

I tried squeezing in an 18mm no joy. But it works on the 16mm and does not feel weird. At least on my wrist.
