Jay (Eire) presents a compelling case for the Bulgari Octo Finissimo in titanium, highlighting its unique combination of lightness and thinness. His post delves into how these attributes allow a larger, squared case to wear comfortably on a variety of wrist sizes. This discussion is particularly relevant for collectors interested in the ergonomic advantages of modern watchmaking materials and design.
Like the CTS of yesterdayโs post, this is another titanium case and bracelet which comes in pretty much featherlight (in terms of watches generally) on the scales.
Unlike the CTS thereโs obviously no complication here. But also unlike the CTS that lightness here is combined with thinness. I do believe that this combination allows for what is a larger squared case to wear very well on even smaller wrists.
Of course, adding Moโs art (laser engraved) takes this one up several notches from the base OF.
(No editing in these photos, this is just how the light hits this watch sometimes. Other times certain light can make it appear more washed out or faded. Either way, Iโm still very much hooked on this design).

Not that I have any knowledge of paintings btw. A fantastic wristwatch.
This one, the OF, seems to vary wildly by wrist type. I think a flat wrist, even a smaller one, can hold this watch OK.
And like you I am a fan of thin and light watches and itโs good to see that more players are experimenting in the area. Sadly many believe that this needs to be remunerated out of proportion but there are some exceptions ๐๐๐ป
