I'm always a strap guy, so my preference off the start is already biased. However, I'm having a difficult time picking which one I like better because the design of the metal bracelet is superb. I've worn the bracelet Octo on the wrist for several days and it's extremely comfortable and balanced. I would buy the bracelet version and then buy the leather strap so I have both. Sorry I didn't pick either one or the other. This is the rare case where I would want both! - AT
indeed tough choice as I am a leather strap person, but this is the rare occassion where the bracelet look just goes so well with the overall high tech metal structural/industrial look of the watch :) regards, asad
........ leather strap for that Roman elegant feeling. The metal bracelet is pretty good for those warm humid days but gives a more machismo look and may be bulky. If getting both, it is best to buy the bracelet version and get the leather strap as a cheaper accessory. Regards, MTF

There is nothing to add to Anthonys statement! But for this case I would buy the watch with bracelet and the leather strap seperately. I've heared a MSRP for the bracelet and was fainting :-) stere
