Ron (Moka-Tiger) initiates a compelling discussion on the Bulgari Octo series, questioning the perceived lack of enthusiasm for the Octo Roma models compared to the widely celebrated Finissimo. His post invites the WatchProSite community to explore the reasons behind this disparity, delving into aesthetics, movement complexity, and value considerations. Ron's inquiry provides a valuable starting point for collectors new and old to understand the nuances of Bulgari's Octo line.

But that's just me. You can be one of our special members who prefer the Roma.
In my very personal opinion the Finissimo is on another level compared to the Roma regarding movement, overall quality and the looks. The Roma is not a bad watch, but the Finissimo is just so much more refined in pretty much all the details.
Just wanted hear the comments as to why I don't see any Roma versions here. I guess the Finissimo's appeal is a combination of a lot of factors
It's a cut above the Roma versions I have seen. Even considering the higher price.
First to say, i like to collect also a Bulgari Bulgari. A simple Bulgari with the famous round case. The Roma is affordable, besides it is a good looking watch. The lower sister Bulgari Bulgari have flair and it can go perfectly with a Finissimo in a watch collection. The Roma tick all the boxes, so i will consider the watch.
I tried it several time in the shop. It is like a previous version of the finissimo, thicker, not so cool design and I think farily generic movement. I had to check pricing and indeed it is cheaper, but for a reason! Rather wait and get the top of the line.
