amanico's post showcases a rare and pristine Breguet Type XX "FG 54," highlighting its military heritage and distinctive aesthetic. The watch's minimalist dial and bezel, coupled with its historical case back engraving, offer a glimpse into its original purpose as a French army pilot's watch. This piece captures the essence of vintage military chronographs, making it a highly desirable target for collectors.

An early Breguet Type XX FG I saw a few months ago, in Paris. And a pretty nice one.

The dial is very pure with no wording at all.

As well as the insert of the bezel, with no other marking than the triangle at 12 o clock.

And the case back which tells the ( military ) story. This watch was in dotation for the pilots of the french army.

Last detail, a kind of delicious cherry, the pear shaped crown.

If I didn't have to fund a big target for the end of this year, I would have grabbed it, immediately.

Totally my kind of stuff.

Best,

Nicolas
