I think I've asked, but what was your take on the new blue dialed tradition?
quite as harmonious with the rest of the movement as the silver dial version, but that is OK in my opinion. I would love to see one in the flesh. What do you think Spangles ? Best Will.
Blue, whether on the hands or dial, helps to add something to the mostly monochromatic movement. The blue dial makes this accent color a major player, giving attention but at the cost of the classic understatement of the previous version. I agree that seeing it in person will be key for me as well.
That same shape was used by Breguet for their pocket watches in the very early years. I thing it is a great idea to bring it back in the Tradition series. George
Both are exceptional, but the Tradition is unique...
great watches and thanks for sharing! i'm considering breguet 5827 and the traditions have been grabbing my attention as well. i prefer a watch primarily w/a rubber strap at this time. do you (or the community here) believe the traditions to be a funky / ill fit re: rubber straps, and just consider the marines for such? i love the skeleton style and "why not both" isn't what i'm up to at the moment. thanks in advance!
