In this captivating post, northerner invites WatchProSite readers to explore the intricate finishing of the Breguet Tradition 7037. Through a series of stunning macro photographs, northerner reveals unexpected levels of craftsmanship, prompting a discussion on the movement's quality. This deep dive offers a unique perspective on a watch often admired for its open-worked dial but rarely examined with such microscopic detail.

When I pulled out my macro lens and took some close-ups I got surprised. And not in the usual way where the surprise is of the disappointing kind, on the contrary! I did not expect that level of finishing on this piece! Anglage by hand, black mirror polishing, beveled wheel spokes, hand-engraved logos and numbers for the seconds scale. Did I miss something? I would love to hear your opinions and thoughts on the topic of the quality of the movement.

This minute repeater has one of the most beautiful and maximalist movements I've ever seen... A feast for the eyes.

Tried taking a few shots of the Chopard 1.96 and results weren't anywhere near as spectacular. Must be the depth of the movement and the matt finish

Jokes aside, I use the Oly E-M1 Mk2 and the Zuiko 60mm macro. A bounced flash as well.
