was produced in a limited edition of only 75 examples. It was made for the Asian market to mark the 250th anniversary of Breguet. Size 35mm, Thickness 7mm, caliber caliber 818/4 movement is Rhodium plated, with fausses côtes embellishment. It's constructed with 18 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, a monometallic balance, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a self-compensating flat balance spring. .. If you see the 2nd photo I posted above, the open case back shows 21 jewels. Ref 3697. For the limited edition ones, they have a solid case back with Breguet engraved portrait.

As far as I could remember 3697 was made around 1996 for the Hong Kong market to commemorate the 1997 handover of Hong Kong from Britain to China. Two hundred pieces were made in yellow gold. White gold versions were also produced, although I am unsure about the number, and 75 were made in platinum with a solid engraved back. The model which was produced in 1997 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the birth of Abraham Louis Breguet is 1747.

Do you know what material is used for the dial?

Dial is silvered gold. The limited BA and BB models come with display back (3697). Regular production models In BA, BR, and BB have solid case back (3690). Attached is an old pic of my 3690BR.
