I have the Classique Hora Mundi 5717 and absolutely love the complication. The 5555 is not that much more expensive than the serial Marine Hora Mundi 5557, at least new. MSRP for the 5557 is US $89,100, while the limited edition 5555 is US $104,700. Of course, you can get the 5557 pre-owned for around $52k.

About the Breguet Ref. 5557

The Breguet Marine Hora Mundi reference 5557 distinguishes itself as a production model within the Hora Mundi series, offering a dual time zone complication with an instant-jump display. Unlike limited editions such as the 5555, the 5557 is a serial production piece, making it more widely available in the market. It shares the innovative Hora Mundi mechanism, allowing the wearer to switch between two pre-selected time zones with a single push of a button, simultaneously adjusting the date and day/night indicator.

This reference features a case crafted from precious metal, housing an automatic movement. The design incorporates elements characteristic of the Marine collection, including a fluted caseband and a specific lug design. The dial typically presents a sophisticated aesthetic, often with a wave-pattern guilloché, and displays for the second time zone, date, and day/night. The sapphire crystal provides a clear view of the dial and protects the intricate mechanics.

For collectors, the 5557 represents an accessible entry point to Breguet's advanced Hora Mundi complication in a contemporary sports-luxury context. Its availability as a non-limited edition offers more opportunities for acquisition compared to its rarer counterparts. The model appeals to those seeking a practical yet highly refined travel watch, combining Breguet's horological heritage with modern functionality.

Pleasure. A bit big, with its 43, 9 mm and 13, 8 mm high case, though... And the price!!!

And I prefer the case of the 5717:

That is literally my watch :)

And I agree - I like the Classique version more than the Marine

I added it in the original post, to reduce confusion

Probably will create more, but seeing it twice (or three times) doesn't hurt anyone
