In a recent post, terbaboom shared his acquisition of a BMW X6 50i, prompted by a need for a taller vehicle post-surgery. His decision highlights the unique challenges of car ownership in regions with high taxation and a distorted car market, making his choice of an almost 8-year-old model a strategic one for a planned two-year ownership period. This article delves into the community's perspective on luxury SUVs, market dynamics, and the personal driving experiences that shape such decisions.

...must be fun to drive : )
i chose this simply because it's different from the boxy X5. drive wise, i love the power available at the throttle. the taller stance needs some getting used to during cornering, but once the confidence is there, it's most enjoyable
I had the X4 and really missed that tooβ¦but only after Iβd traded it in. Pity π
I had the pleasure of being the passenger of a Ferrari 328 GTS some years back in Singapore with a fun owner
Hope you are making a strong recovery. Best regards Captain
The government is very bad. They put ridicules taxes on cars and ownership. The whole market went nuts. Petrol is fluid gold. Tax on tax on tax. Nice X6. It is almost the same age as my Honda.
