MichaelC's initial impressions of the BMW M3 Touring sparked a lively debate among enthusiasts, particularly concerning its design philosophy and market positioning. His post highlights the vehicle's appeal despite its polarizing aesthetics and limited availability, inviting the community to weigh in on BMW's latest performance wagon. This discussion is particularly relevant for collectors interested in the evolving landscape of high-performance automotive design and practicality.

Seems like a hit for BMW fans.  AWD, S58 motor.  Not available in the US.  I am not a wagon guy, but this looks really good.

I also love the "ugly" front end that drives BMW purists crazy. Probably easier for me, as I have never owned one, and why watches like the Juan Pablo Montoya and Survivor were instant hits for me. I like polarizing designs, and a blend of outrageous and awkwardness are appealing to me.

Personally give me half the power in a package half the weight, then you may get my attention. A lot of these wagons are way too big over here at least, bulging arches bursting from most car lanes. I did contemplate the idea of the old rs4 with the v8 and manual but it's getting a bit long in the tooth and too heavy for my liking. I wish automakers would spend their money cutting weight instead of adding gizmos and chasing ring times but thats just me.
